Fitment & Compatibility
This catback exhaust is designed and fitment-verified for the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Subaru WRX (VB platform). It is not compatible with earlier WRX generations (VA, GR/GV) or the WRX STI. If you are unsure of your chassis code, verify your build year and trim level before ordering. This system connects at the factory cat/downpipe junction — a stock or aftermarket downpipe is required; the catback does not include a downpipe or catalytic converter.
Installation
The Perrin Single Exit Catback is a bolt-on system that uses OEM hanger locations and hardware, making it suitable for a home garage install with basic hand tools and a lift or jack stands. No cutting, welding, or ECU tuning is required for installation. While the system is designed to connect to the stock downpipe, it is also compatible with most aftermarket downpipes using the factory mid-pipe flange. Perrin recommends inspecting all gaskets and hangers at the factory junction prior to installation. Professional installation is always an option if you are not comfortable working under the vehicle.
